Thursday night was the annual Awards Dinner. Al Vukasin, President/CEO of Bear Paw CU, was named Montana Credit Union Professional of the Year and Gary Schoepp, Richland FCU Board Member, was named the Mitch Reed Volunteer of the Year. Sue Smith and Ravalli County FCU received MCUCD's Philosophy in Action Award, and the evening was capped off by two MCUCD FUNdraisers -- the silent auction and a live auction for the masterpieces created during the Non-Golf FUNdraiser at Canvas Creek ( http://www.CanvasCreekTeamBuilding.com)

Sue Smith, president of Ravalli County FCU, says a few words after receiving MCUCD's Philosophy in Action Award for 2012. The award recognized the credit union's central role in establishing the Bitterroot Financial Education Coalition -- 11 community organizations that are working together to offer financial education for local consumers.
And, then... Let the bidding begin. Tracy DuFresne (Altana FCU) and Canvas Creek Founder Karen Grosz sort through a few of the canvases that were created during the FUNdraiser.
